The Police have taken charge of the security of Kano Emir’s main palace previously guarded by local hunters after Lamido Sanusi was reinstated. Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers State has sacked the Chairman of the Rivers State Council of Traditional Rulers, Eze Ohna Sergeant Chidi Awuse, the Paramount Ruler of Emohua Kingdom, over his refusal to include the governor’s pictures as well as that of his deputy in the 2024 calendar. Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah has approved bursaries in the sum of N44.1m to 294 indigenes of the state currently studying at the seven campuses of the Nigerian Law School across the country.
