Kayode Egbetokun, the Inspector General of Police, has given an order to police personnel to immediately refrain from wearing dark glasses while in uniform. The directive which is with immediate effect is contained in a wireless message dated Tuesday, January 21, 2025, and addressed to all zonal and state commands in the police force.
