The final journey of Mama Christy which began from the morgue of St Anthony’s Hospital, Ubahu road at about 7am with a long convoy, caused traffic gridlock that brought commuters to a standstill for hours within the metropolis.
Before 11am time for the funeral service, worshippers and sympathisers had occupied every available space at the expansive St Mary’s Catholic Pro-cathedral Church to express their affection and love for Engr Ike.
