There is something just doesn’t jell, or fall in place, about the early Easter Monday morning attack on Owerri Prisons and the neighbouring Police headquarters.  Something about the attack does not smell right. President Muhammadu Buhari has announced DIG Usman Alkali Baba as acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), TheNation reports. According to the Minister of Police Affairs, Maigari Dingyadi, the appointment takes immediate effect. Dingyadi disclosed the new appointment to State House Correspondents on Tuesday at the Presidential villa, Abuja.
