The dark reality of the moment is that Owerrri zone has been pigeon-holed on the structural pattern of peacock politics especially on the bases of representation at the Senate. Owerrri zone has been akin to the proverbial tale of the Tortoise who went to his in-law’s house to ask for their daughter’s hand in marriage but was carried away by the savoury and delicious delicacy offered while a more serious suitor came and took the lady away. This was what led  Tortoise into a second marriage contract with “Aliga” his present wife.  Very unfortunate.

Hope  Odidika Uzodinma of the laudable 3R Agenda Government, it’s been all gloom and despondency.It’s been a mixed grill of smiles and sorrows.The smiles go for those things in this life that impact us positively (ie the public nay common masses)  .Such things include enhanced beuraucratic system, restoration of decorum in the system of governance and administration;revamped moribund infrastructure and improvement of the infrastructural facilities.As we all could testify,there are more solid road construction and contracts awarded to only qualified and capable contractors,respecting due process.This explains the resultant visible quality roads like the ongoing Orlu to Owerri and Okigwe to Owerri highway corridors.Even in the streets of the three Urban centres,the road infrastructure is more solid and qualitative .The Urban renewal projects are now more meaningful and succinctly appreciated. Almost all the key sectors of the economy are receiving priority attention.

The members representing Isu state constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon Ngozi Obiefule has debunked a publication by an Owerri based Newspaper (not Nigeria Newspoint), alleging that she had raised an alarm over the purported missing of the member, representing Ideato North in the state legislature, Hon. Arthur Egwim and also attributing the disappearance of Egwim to suspension by House leadership and masterminding all suspensions.
