As part of activities marking the 2023 Fathers’ Day, the All Saints A.M.E Zion Church, Umuomumu Mbieri in Mbaitoli Local Government Area, last Sunday, honoured an illustrious son of the area, Oswald Okebata with Ezinwa Ambassador award for his commitment to community service.
The pastor in-charge of All Saints A.M.E Zion Church, Rev Obinna Ewurum while presenting the award to Ezinwa Okebata, charged him to sustain the tempo of his service to God and humanity.
Responding, Ezinwa Okebata who is the Executive Director, Timjul Dynamic Services Limited, Owerri, represented by his manager and executive assistant, Engineer Rapheal Iwuchukwu, appreciated the church for the award. He reminded Christian fathers that they have a responsibility to build God-fearing homes and protect their children from today’s negative influences and vices.
He charged Christian fathers to be proactive in their call as heads of families, adding that fathers must perform this role for the benefit of the entire society.
