The Spiritual Director of the Holy Ghost Adoration Ministry, Uke in Anambra State , Rev Fr Emmanuel Obimma has opined that kidnappers were hiding under the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, to unleash mayhem and criminality on innocent citizens in the South-East, even when they are not real agitators.
Rev Fr Obimma popularly known as Fr Ebube Muonso who expressed dismay at the escalating insecurity in Anambra State in particular, noted that IPOB remained a movement agitating for an end to the marginalisation of the Igbo, but frowned at the manner people he described as miscreants and kidnappers, go about unleashing mayhem on the people while using IPOB as cover.
The Catholic priest revealed in a Video that had gone viral that some of the suspected kidnappers of one of his brother -Priests, Fr Nonso Okoye, have been arrested, adding that he had earlier warned them against toying with an anointed Priest of God.
“I told them that if I be a man of God, that they would all be apprehended before they would finish the ransom. And today, that prophecy has come to pass. Look at them here. More than six of them have been apprehended, to the glory of God.
“Enough is enough! Anybody or group who engages in the evil act of kidnapping again in Anambra must be apprehended,” he cautioned.
The Cleric further said that he had no issues with Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra state , but was only concerned about the level of insecurity in the state and how the situation could be brought under control.
The clergyman also warned kidnappers and other criminals terrorising Anambra State, to repent or face the wrath of God.
