Saturday,November 30, this year will ever remain memorable in the life of a former Commissioner for Information in Imo state, Prof Vitalis Orikeze AJumbe who clocked 64years.
In what was seen as a birthday bash for a selected few friends, school mates, members of his Safari Club, Owerri,the host,Prof Ajumbe said it was the first time he is the one celebrating the Birthday anniversary himself because it was done by well-wishers in the past.
He said it was a special and happy moment for him and thanked all who graced the unique occasion,even as he made token donation to his dear Safari Club and members.
One unique voice amongst few that spoke to eulogize the former commissioner was Dr ABC Duruaku, his long term ally who outlined the many special virtues of Prof AJumbe during the toast.To him ,the Prof is a man of many parts who can not easily be understood amongst many other thoughts provoking talk,he made.
Other friends also lauded the celebrant as a man with good heart .
