The first Surveyor-General of Imo State, Surv Sir John Okonkwo Egbejimba has passed .
Late Surv Egbejimba who hailed from Umuokabia, Orlu Local Government Area of Imo State, died in the United States of America ,USA on April 14, 2025.
He was the until his death, the Chief Executive Officer of Jongon (Nigeria) Ltd – merchants, property developers and surveyors.
A release signed by the Manager, Jongon (Nig) Ltd, Mr Ignatius C. Okorie, indicates that the burial arrangement as scheduled by the deceased family will be on May 3, 2025, with a Mass at St Joseph Catholic Church Umuokabia, Orlu Local Government Area, by 10 am.
The release further indicates that he will be interred in the United States of America.
The late Surveyor General was a devout Christian and Knight of Mulumba.He is survived by Children,grand children and many great grand children,friends and well wishers.
