Secretary General, NANS Zone “F”, Alfred Exalts, Igbokwe For Mobilizing Scores Of Students To NYSC Camp,Years After Graduation .

…Says: My leadership  dedicated to student’s welfare.

Comrade Alfred Jester Chinedum, the Secretary-General of the National Association of Nigerian Students,NANS Zone F, South East , has applauded Dr. Basilia Igbokwe, the Rector of Federal Polytechnic Nekede, for her exceptional leadership and dedication to students’ welfare.

Specifically, Chinedum praised Igbokwe for ensuring that thousands of students who were unable to participate in the National Youth Service Corps,NYSC program due to administrative issues were finally mobilized.

Alfred, who is also a law student at Imo State University, IMSU emphasized the importance of leaders like Igbokwe, who prioritizes students’ needs and well-being.

She noted that Igbokwe’s efforts have not only benefited the students but also reflected positively on the institution.

In addition to praising Igbokwe, Comrade Chinedum,also addressed the issue of corruption in Tertiary institutions, highlighting the role of parents in perpetuating the problem. She advised parents to refrain from bribing officials to secure admission for their children, as this practice undermines the integrity of the educational system.

She applauded  the Rector’s efforts to ensure that students who were previously unable to participate in the NYSC program were finally mobilized.

Comrade  Chinedum  also emphasized the importance of having women in leadership positions, particularly those who are mothers. She believes that women like Igbokwe, who have demonstrated compassion and empathy are essential in positions of power. Chinedum’s  statement suggests that having more women in leadership roles could lead to positive change and better decision-making.

It’s worth noting that Secretary General of NANS Zone F”,  praise for Igbokwe is not only a testament to her leadership but also a recognition of the challenges she has overcome.

“As a woman in a leadership position, Igbokwe has likely faced unique obstacles, and her success is an inspiration to others”.

Furthermore, Chinedum announced an upcoming event, “IMSU Pray,” scheduled for February 12, which aims to provide scholarships, food, and other support to students in need. This initiative reflects the office of the Secretary General’s Zone F” South East commitment to promoting the welfare of students and giving back to the community.
