Numbers of roads in Imo are bad state especially, Owalla-Orie Uratta – Umunahu – Ihitaogada-Emekuku Road; Orji Junction – Mbieri Road; Dr Patrick Agochukwu Road by Dick Tiger Road off Methodist Bus Stop Owerri, among others.
Speaking on the situation, a school owner, Dr Robinson Omoroguiwa, proprietor of Christian International Schools, who hinted that Patrick Agochukwu Road has been a horrible place that kept away vehicles, including tricycles, buses from playing on it. He also
noted that even pedestrians avoid the road for fear of falling into ‘pits.’
Dr Robinson pleaded with the government to urgently fix the roads in line with the 3R agenda of the present administration in Imo State which revolves around recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction.
