Concerned Ihitte-Uboma Stakeholders have bluntly, declared the purported 48-hour ultimatum given to the Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly and Member for Ihitte-Uboma State Constituency in the state Legislative House over the release of an alleged Sienna Security Bus under his custody as a reckless, bizarre and fraudulent act tantamounting to generating tension and anarchy in the area.
The Stakeholders who attributed the media publication insinuating that Rt Hon Chike OLemgbe declined response to the demand by the Chairman of Ihitte-Uboma Local Government Area for the release of the Sienna Bus procured from Ihitte-Uboma diaspora indigenes for security purposes expressed shock that some faceless miscreants led by Engr Mark Uchendu, a former Secretary to Imo State Government,SSG and who could not operate under due process and acceptable moral standards, took it upon themselves to sponsor embarrassing Newspaper and online publications.
A release from the office of the Speaker noted that the terse publications were solely aimed to drag the good name and hard-earned image of Speaker OLemgbe, an illustrious Son of Ihitte-Uboma to the mud.
The aggrieved Stakeholders wondered how Engr. Uchendu, who in reality, is not the Apex political Leader of Ihitte-Uboma should allegedly,senselessly, dabble into a matter he has no right or powers to discuss.
Continuing, the concerned Ihitte-Uboma Stakeholders who vowed to resist further moves to tarnish the image of Speaker OLemgbe, warned Engr. Uchendu who according to them, has been in the habit of fomenting trouble in Ihitte-Uboma LGA in the name of playing politics, to stop forthwith, further attempts to disturb their son.
According to them ,Rt Hon.OLemgbe has done very well in office as Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly and Member for Ihitte-Uboma state constituency.
” We are aware of those who instigated and aided the media publications, purporting a 48-hour ultimatum to Rt Hon Chike OLemgbe. Mark Uchendu and others who are always out to arrogate to themselves, the status of political oracle which decides the fate of every human being in Ihitte-Uboma when in actual fact, they do not mean well for Ihitte-Uboma should leave Chike Olemgbe alone.
” And finally, We, concerned and well-meaning Ihitte-Uboma Stakeholders hereby, warn all those behind the publications to desist from further baseless rumours and propaganda against Rt Hon Chike OLemgbe, a true son of Ihitte-Uboma who has so far, extended succour and jobs to many Ihitte-Uboma people.
” It is sheer madness and arrant nonsense that those alleged ageless miscreants led by Engr Uchendu who have reportedly outlived their usefulness in politics and who claim to be true patriots, could condescend to the level of plotting the downfall of an Ihitte-Uboma Son who by the grace of God, is the Number three citizen of Imo state. Good enough, we have known all those workers of iniquity and in due course, we will give them their infamous positions in the scheme of things.
” The publication alleging 48-hour ultimatum to Rt Hon Chike Olemgbe, a man who has so far, proven to be a rare gift and blessing to Ihitte-Uboma by God Almighty is by every yardstick of assessment, fraudulent. Come to think of it, how on earth, can Mark Uchendu and his few alleged co-miscreants address themselves as Ihitte-Uboma Stakeholders. This is funny and the very reason why we, real Ihitte-Uboma Stakeholders categorically, dissociate ourselves from those inglorious Publications”, the aggrieved Stakeholders concluded.
