This is to inform the general public that the Orisakwe Royal Family of Umueke village, Owerre Nkwoji Community in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State, held their Annual General Meeting,AGM on the 5th day of January, 2025.
In the meeting, the Chairman of the Royal dynasty,Prince Patrick Chibuzo Orisakwe was unanimously given a vote of confidence with his executives to continue with their good work.
The leadership of the Royal family as constituted is as follows:
(1) Prince Patrick Chibuzo, Chairman
(2) Prince (Barr.) Robinson Orisakwe ,Vice Chairman
(3) Prince Kenney Kenneth Orisakwe ,Secretary.
(4) Prince Okechukwu Henry Orisakwe, (Publicity Secretary)
(5) Prince Cheta Folan Orisakwe (Treasurer)
(6) Prince Chinonyerem Orisakwe (Provost)
This was done in accordance with the family precept and norm as evidenced by the historical and archival records of the Royal family. This historical practice was instituted by the patriarch of the family, Eze Orisakwe the first of Owerre Nkworji, who handed over the family head to his son Eze Benjamin Bekee Orisakwe ll.
Prior to his death, Eze S.B.C Orisakwe, Eze nwammmadu III of Owerre Nkworji was appointed as the family head. After the death of Eze S.B.C Orisakwe, his son Eze elect Nelson Iheanyi Orisakwe succeeded him as the Chairman of the Royal family.
The Eze elect, Prince Nelson Iheanyi Orisakwe along with well respected elders of the family, Late Prince Abraham Ricky Orisakwe, Prince Luis Orisakwe, Prince Godwin Orisakwe, Prince Raphael Orisakwe and Prince Christian Orisakwe appointed Prince Patrick Chibuzo Orisakwe (Ugoebenaja) to hold fort for him as the family head \ Chairman of Orisakwe Royal family on the 31st day of December 2012, to hold forth for him henceforth.
It is of the interest to the general public to note that leadership of Orisakwe Royal family is by appointment by the Royal elders of the family.
Therefore any election within the family is illegal, null and void, and of no effect.
The general public is hereby warned not to transact or deal with any individual as regards with Orisakwe Royal family head except with the aforementioned names. Anyone dealing with anybody not Prince Patrick Chibuzo Orisakwe and his executives is doing so at his or her own risk.
