The serene Owerre Nkwoji Community in Nkwerre LGA of Imo State is set to host dignitaries, inlaws, friends and well wishers to the funeral ceremony of their beloved son, brother and father, Pa Emmanuel Nnodim Alaoma at the Community Central School field, Owerre Nkwoji on Thursday, January 9, 2025.
Speaking to newsmen recently, the first son of the deceased, Mazi Kizito Alaoma extolled the sterling qualities of his father who he said was a community leader and school teacher par excellence.
Mazi Kizito Alaoma expressed the gratitude of his family to God for granting him 96 years of a fulfilled life during which he said he impacted positively on the academic uplifting of our generation as a professional teacher.
In the same vein, the second daughter of Pa Alaoma, Mrs Loretta Nwafor stated that her father sacrificed his personal comfort to ensure that all his children got adequate education which she said had been the ladder of success in their human endevors.
She said their family would forever treasure the beautiful memories of their father adding that they are inviting relations, inlaws, friends and well wishers to join them give their departed father, Pa Emmanuel Nnodim Alaoma a most befitting farewell on Thursday, January 9, 2025 starting with a funeral Service at St Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Owerre Nkwoji by 10am and reception thereafter at the Community Central School field, Owerre Nkwoji.
