A renowned leader and the immediate past chairman of Imo State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission, ISOPADEC, Chief Charles Orie, has described Christmas as a season of joy and time to share love.
The APC chieftain who holds the title of Akuatuegwu, while hosting Imo-based media executives and state based journalists who visited him at his Umuokanne country home on Christmas day last year , said christians should reach out to those around them, giving out gifts and sharing gifts with their neighbours as a part of the Christmas celebration.
Chief Orie also thanked God Almighty for the gift of life and prevailing peace in Imo State.
It will be recalled that Chief Orie has been a leading light in Ohaji/Egbema bloc of Imo State, and has demonstrated passion for human development and empowerment as well as championed the welfare and rights of the people of oil-producing communities in the the state.
