Individual awards of ₦100,000 for the Best Player and Highest Goal Scorer, and ₦50,000 for the Best Goalkeeper, have added an extra layer of excitement. To support participation, every team received ₦100,000 to aid in preparations.
This year’s philanthropy has also introduced a dedicated women’s sports event, marking a bold step toward gender inclusivity. Women from across Owerri zone are showcasing their athleticism and teamwork, competing for prizes that mirror the men’s tournament.
