The official launching of the first music album, “Winds of Change” by Mr Chinedu Nwaziri ,whose stage name is “Chanidu” in conjunction with Ozisa 96.1 FM, recently took place in Owerri, the Imo state capital.
The occasion held at a popular hotel in owerri attracted, relations, friends and well wishers, musicians, comedians from far and near.
Speaking at the event, the chairman of the occasion, Dr Kelechi Ogbu described, the album launch as a step in the right direction and congratulated, Mr Nwaziri on his album launch and the bold step he took, encouraging him to keep up the good work.
In his address, Mr Chinedu Nwaziri who hails from Umuodanguru in Aboh Mbaise, LGA of Imo State, welcomed all who came to identify with him and to grace his music album launch.
He expressed displeasure that he couldn’t make it to be physically present, as he is away in the United States of America ,USA.
He disclosed that his music career started in 2009, but looking at where he was at the moment, he would say that God has helped him to accomplish the most important part of his journey which is sharing the moment with his fans.
Speaking further ,the Mbaise-born musician, noted that it has been a journey on a road full of exit signs and unending destinations.
He added that this makes life enjoyable because one is faced with challenges and surprises unknown to him.
The American based artiste, emphasized that the main objective of his music is to impact positively on humanity everywhere with positive lyrics, that talks about life and love, creating positive attitudes towards changes aimed, at improving and redefining lives.
Mr Nwaziri, further revealed that ‘Winds of Change’ being the title of his first album contains different tracks, which have different messages but are all similar in the theme as they focus on love and life, noting that the hit song used as the title of the album describes, the changes affecting human lives and trend of events that deprive us of the way we want to live our lives as he listed other
tracks in the album which includes: “Better my life”,”Reason to fight”,I want to feel your love”, Make a Change”,etc.
In an interview with the brother to the musician , Dr Alex Nwachukwu stated, that the event was a successful one adding, that the celebrant had shown great interest in music even before he travelled abroad and prayed that God would see him through.
In her contribution, a Broadcast journalist with Ozisa 96.1 FM, Mrs Jennifer Oguguo (Joyful Jenny) and the Music Manager of the artiste equally noted, that the artiste’s music began professionally in 2009 and since then, he has been releasing series of songs and has over 30 songs on record and most of them can be gotten from his website and social media platforms etc.
Mrs Oguguo disclosed, that the artiste is a humble man and down to earth notwithstanding his level and a man who possesses
kind heart which he shows through his lyrics as his songs were centred on love and life.
She thereby encouraged everyone to support his celebrant ‘s music, follow him on his social media platforms, stream his songs which are available on digital platforms like : apple music, spotify, band camp among others.
