A political organization for Dr, Chima Amadi, under the aegis of Chima Amadi Movement,CAM, has visited Nigeria Newspoint Corporate office in Owerri,Imo state capital to drum Media support and partnership.
Leading the group, the Central co-ordinator of the movement, Engr.Kelechi Nlem said that the group came to identify with the media outfit bearing in mind the significant roles the media can play in giving the movement an elaborate voice.
Nlem pointed out that Nigeria Newspoint, being an old name in the business of media practice knows the in and out of the profession as regards to projecting and propagating people and organisational image for positive public view.
The Coordinator disclosed that their principal,Dr Amadi as a humane and patriotic person has what it takes to set things right for the state as Governor.
He also informed that Dr Amadi being a forthright person believes in service and human development, adding that to that effect he has decided to present himself to Imo people at the grassroots.
Nlem avered that the grassroots awareness campaign is presently the major focus of CAM ,so as to build a strong support base and structure for Dr Amadi’s political interests for the future.
He expressed optimism that the Newspaper will give the group the publicity it desires in actualizing the political ambition of their principal,Dr Amadi.
Lending her voice, the Owerri North LGA women leader for CAM,Mrs.Patricia Ehirim, solicited from the media outlet,robust relationship as it concerns propagating the activities of the movement.
She maintained that as coordinator of the women, that she will put in her best to ensure the purpose of the movement is fruitful.
Welcoming the group, the Publisher and Editor -in Chief of the Newspaper ,Comrade Lambert Ojukwu assured them of the readiness of the media outlet to partner with CAM.
He told them ,that they made a wise decision coming to identify with the outlet explaining that the Newspaper has been in the business of Journalism practice for 21 years spreading across the Southeast and South South regions even beyond.
The publisher, promised that their activities will be given adequate publicity.. and wish them well.
