Imo NURTW Boss Buries Father: Imo CP, Charlvon, Update, Others, Storm Iho-Dimeze For Udeh Father’s Burial.

…As ex-CAN Chair urges Christians to seek God’s intervention

What was not short of fiesta was witnessed at the burial ceremony of Late Special Senior Apostle, Emmanuel Uzoma Udeh, father of the Imo State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers,NURTW, Hon. Samuel Udeh (Ezeumuokorobia), as notable men and women from all walks of life were in attendance.

The burial ceremony which took place on Thursday, November 28, held at Iho Central School, in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State, saw the presence of the Imo State Commissioner of Police, CP Aboki Danjuma, Operational Leader of APC in Ikeduru, Prince Charles Amadi (Charlvon), former Councillorship aspirant of APC for Uzoagba Ward, Hon. Promise C Nyeaka (Mr Update), Eze Elect of Iho Dimeze, Eze Martin, among other numerous dignitaries.

Giving his sermon, the guest preacher, Sp Snr Ap Timothy Okpara, former Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Anambra State, predicted that Nigeria, come 2027 will definitely experience better days through the mighty power of God Almighty.

He therefore urged christians to cultivate the attitude of seeking God’s face in prayers for the overall healing of Nigeria.

The Cleric described  death as a price which every human being, whether rich or poor, must pay, adding that those who do the will of God would have eternal life.

Taking his sermon from 2nd Chronicles 7:14, the Anambra  Ex-CAN Chairman condemned the attitude of apportioning blames on leaders for the ugly state of the country, charging all to leave the blame game and approach God’s presence with all humility, amending their evil ways, which according to him, are the sure ways of bringing the desired positive transformation.

In his good will message to Udeh over the death of his father, Hon. Nyeaka Update, a transformative youth leader, noted that the NURTW Chairman, is quite a great leader, whose sagacious leadership style has endeared him to many in Ikeduru and beyond, hence the presence of the high and mighty in the society at the funeral.

While consoling Udeh and his entire family to take heart over their loss, Update urged them to keep faith, hold firm on God to be their father.

He prayed that at this moment of their mourning, God will grant them the needed fortitude to bear the loss and bless them abundantly.

Update stated that death is an inevitable price all mankind will definitely pay someday, harping on the need for one to be always ready for it while walking in righteousness and being at peace with God

He  added that as the deceased died at a good old age of 91 years, God will make Udeh family including men and women of good faith to grow old in God’s goodness before ending their journeys on earth.

With the Imo CP, Charlvon, Eze Martin and other dignitaries demonstrated their support to the chief mourner, consoling and encouraging him to be strong, not allowing his father’s death to weigh him down in carrying out his leadership duties and other social and spiritual activities, for the progress and benefit of Ikeduru and Imo State at large.

The officiating  priests included, Elder Ndukwe Ndukwe (BM), Elder GUC Ofili, Elder DC Onwuzuruike and Elder IC Elegeonye.

 

The chief mourner, Hon. Samuel Udeh, deeply appreciated all who sympathized with the deceased family, praying to God to fortify them, as well as imbue them with more wisdom to be able to live acceptable life.
