PDP dead, APC performing very badly, Kwankwaso says

A former governor of Kano State and the presidential candidate of the New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNOP), Rabiu Kwankwaso, has described the Peoples Democratic Party as a dead party.

Kwankwaso also said that the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) was performing badly in handling the affairs of the nation.

Speaking during an NNPP’s national executive council meeting on Monday, October 1, the former governor said the APC has failed to be in touch with the realities on the ground.

He also accused the party of having an illusion of the challenges faced by citizens across the country and the harsh economic realities.

According to Kwankwaso, the NNPP remains the only political party that has continued to grow as speedily despite the challenges of today.

He said, “I remember when I visited Katsina State to commission our state office.  I mentioned that the two parties, especially the PDP, were dead, and there are so many concerns within the fold of the PDP.

“The APC, as it stands today, you can see that the leadership is just up there in the air, and the entire nation, the people of this country, are on the ground,” Kwankwaso said.
