Hon. Ifeanyi Onyekachi, an Imo based Journalist in and former Chief Press Secretary,CPS to former Speaker, IMHA, Rt. Hon Barr. Emeka Nduka who emerged successful at the just concluded Sept 21 LGA elections has picked his Certificate of Return (CoR) from Imo State Independent Electoral Commission (ISIEC).
Hon. Onyekachi who contested for councillorship position for Ihitte Nsu ward in Ehime Mbano Local Government, was declared winner by ISIEC following a peaceful, free and fair election.
Speaking shortly after he collected his CoR, he thanked the people of Ihitte Nsu ward who elected him.
He explained that his success is traceable to sound political mentorship of his Principal, Rt. Hon. Nduka who did not only campaign assiduously for him, but worked hard to ensure he was successful at the poll.
He thanked the entire APC family of Ihitte Nsu ward under the leadership of Amb Eustace Opara for their dogged commitment in ensuring that victory was achieved.
The new councillor promised to representing the people of Ihitte Nsu ward to the best of his ability.
