As the September 21, Local Government election draws to a serious close in Imo state an erudite personality and philanthropist,Engr Reginald Ikemba Nworisa has thrown his hart into the Local Government ring to contest for the Nkwerre LGA Chairmanship .
Addressing a section of Media men yesterday at Owerri , capital of Imo state,Nworisa said he is driven by worthy and patriotic service to work for the people.
Nworisa who is contesting the LGA Chairmanship seat on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party,PDP Promise to bing sanity to LG governance through even development of the area and transparent service to his people.
He promised to bring democratic dividends closer to the people ,where widows,women and youths will benefit.
The PDP candidate believes the election has to be free and fair for the right candidate,choice of the people to emerge victorious.
The oil and gas mogul said he trust the Governor,Sen Hope Uzodinma,as a good man, would ensure a credible,free and fair elections.
“It will be a credit and eternal legacy to the name of the Governor, if the election is free and fair.”
Nworisa made it clear that if the election is conducted free and fair by ISIEC, he will emerge victorious in Nkwerre, saying the LGA is a PDP Local Government.
The PDP candidate said he had done great service to his people,touching lives of Widows, Youths,men and women in the area before That,he said is his trump card to be victorious.
Nworisa vowed to put the best interest of the people first and to serve with open arms devoid of political leanings.
He therefore called on Nkwerre people to vote for him ,his party, PDP for quality service to them all.
