The Immediate past co-ordinator of Nkwerre West Development Centre, High Chief Michael Esiwe has commended the Senator representing Orlu zone in the National Assembly, Senator Osita.B. Izunaso on quality and effective representation.
Esiwe gave the commendation while speaking to journalists on the occasion of his score card presentation/Town Hall Meeting with his constituents held at Nkwerre Country Club in Nkwerre Local Government Area,Imo state.
The former Coordinator, Development Centre who described the event as a welcome development, a step in the right direction lauded the senator for the initiative to present his Score Card on what he has achieved in the National Assembly.
He posited that Senator Izunaso has an edge over his counterparts emphasising, that he has connection both locally and international adding, that the people of Orlu are expecting more Federal Government presence in the area and that the constituents have the belief that the Senator is equal to the task.
Speaking further,he noted that the Senator who is a grassroots politician knows the problems of his people and is prepared to bring solutions to the challenges his constituents are facing.
He described Senator Izunaso as a round peg in a round hole, a man with high intellectual power who knows how to tackle and bring lasting solutions to their challenges.
He reiterated that the Senator as a ranking member in the upper chamber and also from the party in power both in the state and at national level is an added advantage to Orlu zone that he is representing in the red chamber.
Chief Esiwe however lauded the senator for his laudable and giant strides in the senate, his relentless efforts to proffer bills and motions that have positive impacts on the lives of his constituents and appreciates his quality representation which is quite commendable.
The APC chieftain stated that the Senator has done excellently well in the last one year in office, an astute legislator, a strong voice in the National Assembly.as well as the man of the people whose emergence is an act of God,whose impact within the first one year has been felt by all and sundry in the zone.
Esiwe who stated that the reward for good work is more work urged, the ranking Senator not to relent but rather continue with his people oriented and developmental projects.
He also extolled him for the palliatives for his people especially, the Kpakpando Foundation that has really brought succour and smiles on the faces of the indigent and less privileged in the society .
He solicited for the maximum support of the zone to the ruling party.
Addressing his people, the Senate Izunaso noted, that Imo state is rich in oil reserves and is currently the 9th oil producing country in Nigeria,even as he listed some of the motions and bills he has moved which include the championing/facilitating of creation of Orlu state in the Southeast region as well as the call to proffer a solution for the release of Mazi Nnamdi among others.a
