As part of the shared Prosperity government programme in tackling poverty amongst Imo electorates, Imo state shared Prosperity exponent and proponent of the 3 “R” mantra in governance (Rehabilitation, Reconstruction and Recovery) Sen. Hope Uzodinma, has announced Hon. Godson Dibe as the special Adviser to the state governor on Empowerment.
A release by the government of Imo state, signed by the Secretary to the government, Sir Cosmas Iwu, July 10, made available to Journalists announced Hon. Dibe as the special Adviser to His Excellency on Empowerments.
It was gathered that a jubilant Crowd of Party supporters danced as a car passed govt House first gate while Godson acknowledged pleasantries.
Recall that the new appointee who hails from Orlu was amongst those that campaigned intensely for the reelection of His Excellency distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma amidst tension in Imo West during November 2023 polls.
Some jubilant Celebrants who spoke with reporters expressed Pleasures that the governor made a good choice in the appointment as Godson has been in the forefront of youth Empowerments , just like his late Father who offered succour to many indigent people in Orlu and beyond. The new appointee is expected to bring his global experience and contacts to galvanize the shared Prosperity government into more positive Empowerments
