The leadership of Orluzurumee Youth Assembly being the Apex socio-cultural Youth Organization that unites and protects the interest of Orlu Youths in the 12 LGA’S of Orlu Zone,Imo state first wishes to Congratulate you on your one-year as the Senator Representing Orlu Zone in the National Assembly, Abuja, Nigeria. We acknowledge your efforts and appreciate the much you have done, particularly the motion for the creation of Orlu State on the floor of the Senate.
However, we must remind you that a significant portion (70%) of your work as a Senator remains untouched. Your impact and presence are yet to be felt by the good people of Orlu Zone.
Your silence and inaction on the Ideato-Umuchima Erosion site, which has left many homeless, are unacceptable and discredits your representation.
Today is your Town Hall meeting with the people of Imo West Senatorial District (Orlu Zone) and may we inform you sir, our Distinguish Senator that Your empowerment scheme so far is below average, especially towards the teeming youths of Orlu Zone.
There have been no well planned medical outreach programs for the sick in our Senatorial zone, no visible scholarships and special efforts in education, and many other unfulfilled promises.
We urge you to re-evaluate your priorities and focus on the needs of your constituents.
As you engage Orlu leaders in a Town Hall meeting today, we advise you to buckle up and work towards delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Orlu Zone. Your performance in the remaining years of your administration will be closely watched, and we expect significant improvements.
We expect tangible results in the areas of infrastructural development, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment.
Your representation must be felt by all, not just a selected few. We demand more commitment and dedication to the welfare of Orlu people who you are representing in Abuja.
The people of Orlu Zone deserve better, and we expect you to rise to the challenge. We hope that you will take our assessment as a wake-up call to reinvigorate your efforts and make a meaningful impact on the lives of the people you represent.
We applaud you for deeming it necessary to hold a Town Hall meeting with Orlu leaders today and request you to make it an annual event ass it will help you evaluate your performance, so far.
Once again, congratulations on your anniversary, We look forward to seeing significant improvements in your performance.
The youths of Orlu Zone are watching, and we will hold you accountable for your actions.
