…Okolieogwo hails Uzodinma’s support
Recently,as a prove that Late Hon. JOhnFrank Ugaliegbulem (Okosisi Akunne) left an indelible imprint in the golden sands of time, the creme de la creme of Imo politics and economy, had on June 8 , honoured his burial ceremony at Ugbelle Community of Oru West LGA.
The immediate past Imo ALGON Chairman and TC Chairman of the area, Hon. Willie Okolieogwo equally expressed satisfaction with Governor Hope Uzodinma’s generosity in making sure that the burial ceremony wemt well.
Biographically, the diseased, Late Johnfrank Ugaliegbulem was born in 1956 to the family of late Pa- Johnny and Mrs. Elizabeth Ugaliegbulem but he (JohnFrank) kicked the bucket on February 16, 2024 after a brief illness. Records show that he was a graduate of some Tertiary Institutions which he attended with flying colours, he obtained certificates in Engineering profession cum Business Management and Administration. These and other attributes motivated his highly rated group of private establishments in, and outside the State.
In 1999, he clinched the PDP ticket for Oru West State Constituency and upon his election, he also emerged as the Chief Whip of the Imo State House of Assembly from 1999 to 2003.
Feilding questions from journalists at the ceremony which was well attended by major political bigwigs in the State like the Senator for Orlu zone, Sen Osita Izunaso, the APC State party Chairman, MacDonald Ebere, Chief Ralph Nwosu, HRH Majesty Eze Dr. Cletus Iromuanya and others, the immidiate past State ALGON ,HON.Okolieogwo states that the demise of the late Lawmaker shocked him to the marrow as accordingly to him, it was neither expected that death will by this measure, create a big vacuum that will not easily be filled in the political structures of Oru West LGA.
The former TC chairman went further to equally console the Late Lawmaker’s immediate family members, adding that the number one citizen of the state , Governor Uzodinma , has generously put all modalities in place to guarantee a befitting burial for the Late lawmaker whom he said, was a socio- political enigma who made remarkable impact in Oru nation.
”Politically, he was very outstanding, as a great politician with wealth of experience. He was instrumental to the inclusion of Oru West as an Oil producing Constituency, he built bus stops in all the communities he represented within Oru West.He empowered and facilitated the employment of qualified men and women of Oru nation, He impacted greatly on many lives within and outside the State. He worked assiduously to ensure that the dreams of St. John’s Parish, Ugbelle Mgbidi is realized. In recognition of his philanthropic life, he was bestowed with different chieftaincy titles by different communities in Orlu, and Isu Ancient kingdoms. He was a devout Christian, married and survived with five children.
