Hezekiah University  Holds 9th   Matriculation  In Imo 

The Hezekiah University, Umudi, Nkwerre, Imo State, easily rated the University of the moment has successfully done her ninth matriculation  ceremony at the University premises.

The Matriculants were drawn from the University’s three faculties of Humanities, Business and Social Sciences and Natural and Applied Sciences.

In his address after the usual  procession and opening formalities, the Acting Vice- Chancellor, Prof Anthony Nnamdi Okere regretted that the present day society is awash with physical and psychological ideologies in the media and internet that tend to destroy the fabrics of the family and move away from all that give meaning and value to humanity.

He restated that the University which is faith based has zero tolerance for cultism, exam malpractice, indecent dressing , violence and fighting.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor said all programmes of the University have full accreditation from the National Universities Commission,NUC adding that the  University has no room for strike actions just as Students graduate as at when due.

Prof Okere then paid glowing tributes to the Promoter of the University, His Grace, the Most Rev Prof Daddy Hezekiah, 00N, for keeping the University afloat with regular and prompt payment of Staff salaries.

He also urged the Staff to reciprocate the gesture  by being diligent in all they do for the University.

Two refreshers, Miss Lilian Ogechi Madu and Master Victor Chinyere Iheagwam signed the symbolic matriculation register on behalf of other Students as parents and other invitees watched with admiration.
