The Orogwe Integrity Forum, OIF, a Sociocultural organization, has congratulated their pioneer son Commissioner, Rt Hon Ikeena Elezieanya on his appointment as Commissioner and thanked the State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma for deeming him fit to serve as a Commissioner for Science, technology, Innovation and Engineering in his administration.
In a chat with Journalists, at a forum in Owerri, on the development, the Chairman of OROGWE INTEGRITY FORUM(OIF), Sir Jerome Anorue and the Secretary Mr Chris Ononogbo, respectively, described the Governor’s gesture as a favour done the body, the people of Orogwe, the people of Umunwaoha and Owerri West in general promising to reciprocate at the appropriate time.
In his own reaction, a Patron of OIF, Sir Goddy Ahuakagha, described Rt Hon Elezieanya as a fine, reliable and polished politician who had distinguished himself in the House of Representatives adding that he was not surprised that Governor Uzodinma could spot him out.
Contributing, another frontline member of OIF and also Chairman of The Noble Organization, Orogwe, Engineer Uche Ubanwa, described the Commissioner as a team player and urged him to sustain the team player spirit in the area of his new assignment.
Adding his voice, the pioneer local government Chairman of Owerri West and a one time deputy guber candidate in the State, Barr Chief Bethel Nzimako went down memory highlighting all the solid projects Rt Hon Elezieanya had executed in the entire Owerri Federal Constituency and urged him to replicate same in his new ministry.
Barr Chief Nzimako intoned that although this was the first time the people of Orogwe were having a shot at Commissionership since the creation of Imo State, the people of Orogwe and indeed Owerri West would always remain grateful to Uzodinma’s administration for remembering them.
