Delighted at the magnitude of his credible performances and achievements as it concerns human and community development, the Global Theological Seminary INC. (GLOTES) Nigeria and USA has lauded Hon. Sam Udeh (Ezeumuokorobia), Chairman, National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, hence capped him with a Doctorate Degree Honorary Award.
GLOTES which is an affiliate of Minnesota Graduate School USA, the Baldachin of Theology Ministerial and Management Education, decorated the ingenious Chairman with the Award during the institution’s 2024 Owerri Zonal Conference/Award Ceremony, held on last Saturday, at Assembly Hall of Government Secondary School, Owerri.
Conferring the Prestigious Award on Udeh, the Presiding Chancellor of GLOTES, Prof. Emmanuel C. Israel, noted that the Doctorate Award came due to his sterling contributions to the sustenance of peace, security, orderliness and revenue generation in Imo State, plus his robust selfless services to humanity across board.
Prof Isreal declared that Udeh is undoubtedly worthy of the Award conferred on him and forthwith directed that henceforth the title ‘Dr.’ be appended to his name and that he should be addressed as ‘Hon. Dr. Sam Udeh’ by virtue of Honoris Causa.
According to the Chancellor, “this affirms that Hon. Samuel Udeh, FCAI, JP, is hereby conferred with an Honorary Doctorate Degree (Ph.D Honoris Causa) in Human and Community Development, upon the approval of credentials by the Senate and enviable achievements cum services to God and humanity and is ipso factor entitled to the rights, privileges and immunities appertaining thereto and to use the honor and the investiture to the glory of God”.
In his reaction, Udeh expressed maximal joy over the Award on him by the higher institution which pointed out his recognition as one of the befitting Christians of African origin.
He thanked God for the success of the event, appreciating the institution’s management for finding him deserving of the Award, even as he dedicated it to his charismatic leader and Governor, His Excellency, Senator Hope Uzodinma.
Udeh promised that the Doctorate Award would always spur him to render more effective selfless service to humanity and society for continued goodness and peace, assuring that NURTW under his leadership will continue to work collectively, dutifully and sincerely to boost revenue generation of Imo State for even development.
“I am richly happy and grateful for the Doctorate Degree Honorary Award meritoriously bestowed on me by Global Theological Seminary INC. I promise that the Award will ginger me to more effective selfless service to humanity and society. NURTW under my watch would often strive to boost revenue generation of Imo State to enable more social development”, Udeh reassured.
In the same vein, Udeh had appreciated and feasted members of NURTW, friends, family and relatives who felicitated with him over the Doctorate Degree Honorary Award, an Honour he stressed he admired.
