The Executive Governor of Imo State, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma has been described as a leader with a good sense of judgement and knack for excellence, experience, loyalty, commitment and hard work which informed his decision to always assemble the right caliber of men to serve his 3R government since it’s inception.
In a release issued by the Association on Monday, May 6, and jointly signed by it’s President,Mr Chukwurah Ekeh(Chinwatakwetaku)and Secretary, Comrade Mmadubueze Uzoma, respectively,it eulogized the state,Senator Hope Uzodinma (Onwa Oyoko) for his foresight and wisdom in re -appointing the Attorney General and Commissioner For Justice, Sir COC Akaolisa (Ezinwanne Orsu, Egbe Eji Eje ogu) into the Imo State executive Council which according to him was done to reward excellence, experience and effective service delivery as personified by Chief Akaolisa.
The Union commended the Governor for honouring the good people of Awo-Idemili Community through the well deserved reappointment of Sir Akaolisa and assured that the Community will continue to show gratitude and intensify it’s support and loyalty to the present administration in the State under his able leadership.
The release further congratulated Sir COC Akaolisa whom they described as a pathfinder, outstanding leader and illustrious son of the community who has always brought honour and recognition to them through his achievements and accolades at different levels of service as a successful private Legal practitioner and public servant.
They also expressed appreciation to Hon Akaolisa for his ingenuity and selfless service to Awo-Idemili Community as well as his past and present efforts in attracting development projects to the Community.
They added that they will continue to support him.They wished him well in his new appointment and expressed optimism that he will bring his wealth of experience, exposure and intellect to bear as he returns to the state Ministry of Justice to consolidate on the achievements recorded in his first tenure.
The Awo-Idemili Progressive Union,Rivers State Branch prayed to God to protect and promote the Attorney General and enjoined him not to relent in his good works and selfless service to the State.
