…Cautions Nigerians on get rich quick syndrome

The Traditional Ruler of Umuofor Autonomous Community in Oguta LGA Imo State HRH Eze Abdul Fatah Emetumah penultimate Wednesday celebrated the 2024 Eid -El-Fitr at his palace in his home town. Preaching a sermon on the topic : “Be Less Worried for Allah is at Work “, Eze Abdul Fatah Emetumah called on Muslim faithfuls to believe in the Almighty Allah for sustainability, stressing that all that we have in this world is vanity upon vanity and therefore advised them to be less worried in all their doings.
The Cleric while continuing in his sermon stated that Islam was not a religion but a way of life, hence it is a compendium that has principles guiding every aspect of human life for a better living. He condemned a scenario where people kept Almighty Allah behind while chasing wealth, forgetting that on their own they can do nothing. The Royal father without mincing words admonished the congregation that their being alive alone was worthy of thanking and praising God, emphasizing that he who fears Allah will always have an escape route during danger.
He encouraged the people to have a better mindset on their daily activities, hence ones mindset determines his life span.
Answering questions from newsmen on the significance of the celebration, the Muslim cleric stated that after the denial of bodily things within the Ramadan period, it is wise to celebrate in order to thank and praise God for His protection, guidance and provision in all ramifications. He advised the faithfuls to continue to live a life of legacy even after the celebration and this include patience, love, perseverance and sacrifice.
He called on Nigerians to pray for the peaceful co-existence of the country. The prayers were made at Imo Grand Central Mosque in Umuofor autonomous community. It should be noted that Eze Emetumah III was turbaned as the Grand Imam of Igbo Land in November 22nd 1992 by the Emir of Kano, Ado Bayero (Rahimahu’llah) He is also the Vice President General Nigeria Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs and Jama’ atu Nasril Islam respectively. He is also a member of Imo State Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria and Forum of Kings in Africa.
Highlights of the celebration were walking around the community and entertainment at the event were Dr Hana Fatima Emetumah (Ugoeze) and a host of other Muslim faithfuls within and outside the area.
