The Coordinator of Amawom Concerned Citizens in Diaspora and Home, Princess Stella NJemanze-Neboh has specifically pleaded with the Imo state Governor,Sen Hope Uzodinma to advise Hon MacDonald Ebere,the All Progressives Congress,APC state chairman to stop politicizing the Amawom youths’ election which ended on crisis at the weekend.
In a statement she issued after the crisis marred youths’ election, the Princess asked that the APC state chairman should not be involved in such a village/ community youths poll.
She condemned the introduction of politics into the brotherly election such as that of Amawom youths.
Princess NJemanze-Neboh recalled that she had Sensitized the youths to vote for the Governor for a second term.
“When I created Bill Boards at various points in Owerri Municipal council during the 2023 Guber election,I did to support the Governor as an Oru Prince who will always support sustainance of the people’s right and culture.I wasn’t seeking for an appointment”.
“The youth Election ought not to have held in the first place because there is a matter in Court over the Election.”she stated.
Princess Neboh maintained that the peace of Amawom Community is important and should not he disturbed by acts that are against the Law.
She disclosed that when all things are sorted out a peaceful election will hold to produce a popular Youth President in Amawom,to be accepted by all.
She therefore called for calm amongst the youths.
