Land Recovery: Group Commendsn Nwakanma’s hardwork, commitment to duty

The special Adviser to Imo state Governor on land Recovery, Hon. Paschal Nwakanma has been commended for his hardwork, uprightness and commitment to duty by in ensuring that all Imo State land properties illegally in the hands of people were recovered.
A group under the agies of Imo Transparency Initiative, gave the commendation in a press statement made available to newsmen.
According to the release signed by its coordinator, Barr John Akuneho, and secretary, TPL Chuks Anusiem, which was made available to newsmen, the group expressed kudos to Hon. Nwakanma popularly known as Dum-Dum for the way and manner he has been going about the job of land property recovery without fear or favour, contrary to what is being published in some sections of the media. Akuneho stressed that the job of land recovery is not an easy one, which requires radical approach.
They discribed Hon. Nwakanma as a man of solid character, a perfect gentleman despite his appearance, a transparent character as well as a hardworking fellow who would not compromise his job.
The group further made it clear that those who have been feeding from land grabbing and illegal possession of government land property but were affected by the current state government policy, were those parading and sponsoring the fake propaganda against the person of Hon. Nwakanma, including according to him, those in government circle.
The group however, revealed that the target of those he described as enemies of progress, was to see that Hon.Nwakanma be relieved of his appointment, adding that by the grace of God, such would certainly not come to pass. He said Governor Hope Uzodinma who appointed Nwakanma is an intelligent man who knows the truth.
The group therefore called on Ndi Imo to disregard such rumours and publications because they are borne our of selfish interest to witch-hunt Hon. Nwakanma whom he said, was working for the interest of Imo people.
