Abia State Governor, Alex Otti, has presented a staff of office to Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere as the Traditional ruler of Ikwu Orie Ohanku Ndoki Autonomous Community in Ukwa East LGA of the state.
Apostle Chibuzor is the General Overseer,GO of Omega Power Ministry, OPM,a pronounced christian organisation in Nigeria.
Presenting the staff of office and letter of recognition to the new traditional ruler, the governor who was represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Uzo Nwachukwu, said the event followed the overwhelming acceptance and presentation of the Apostle as the Eze-elect by the community.
The governor, while congratulating the Apostle on the new position, challenged him to justify the confidence reposed in him by his people.
The Governor also urged the Ikwu Orie Ohanku Ndoki community to give him the necessary support to succeed.
The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Florence Nwogu and Director of Chieftaincy, Chuka Agomoh, said that Apostle Chibuzor met all the requirements to become a monarch and was unanimously endorsed for the job by his people.
A member of the community, Mr Kenneth Nwachi, said the people were excited by the presentation of the staff of office to the new traditional ruler.
Responding, Apostle Chibuzor said he took up the role in order to engender peace and prosperity in the community.
Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere was born on October 22nd 1973 into the family of late Mr. and Mrs. Chinyere Nwankwo of Ohanku village in Ndoki, in Ukwa East Local Government Area of Abia State, Nigeria
