Chidiebube Okeoma, an activist journalist and Imo State Correspondent of The PUNCH Newspaper’s mother,Eziada Patricia Okeoma’s body will be laid to rest on Thursday, January 11, 2024.
A statement from the family disclosed that while the service of Songs holds on Wednesday evening, January 10, the funeral rites will hold at the family compound, Umuduruehie, Aguna village in Anara community in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of Imo State,the next day Thursday, January 11.
The funeral service will be conducted by the members of the Living Christ Mission Incorporated.
The journalist, who enjoined his friends and well wishers to join the family in bidding his mother farewell, lamented that the death of his mother had broken his heart and that of the entire members of Okeoma family.
The statement read in part, ” our mother, Eziada Patricia Okeoma ( Nee Ezeala) will be laid to rest on Thursday, January 11. Funeral service will be conducted by the Living Christ Mission Inc at the family compound at Umuduruehie, Aguna village in Anara community in the Isiala Mbano Local Government Area of the State.
“our mother, a temple mother of the church for 39 years, was a hard working mother and trader who diligently raised her children single handedly after the death of her husband after a long ill health which eventual killed her husband, our father.
” Our mother will be remembered for her uncommon disposition for peace and unparalleled love for the things of God. She got married to our late father as a woman of chastity and remained a holy widow till death. Please join us in according her this last respect.”
