Ahead of the November 11, Imo governorship election, Ahaneku Valentine Nzubechi an Imolite and a frontline aspirant, for the post of the National President of National Association of Nigerian Students, NANS has come out to openly declare his unwavering Support for the second term bid of Governor Hope uzodinma to whom he has adopted as the Renewed NANS 3R Agenda.
Ahaneku, the ticket bearer of KEENULE Polytechnic Saro Wiwa for NANS forth coming election, proved his weight of solidarity at the APC Aboh Mbaise /Ngor Okpala constituency Campaign held recently on November 4, at St Theresa Primary School Field Nguru Ngor Okpala LGA.
The NANS national President aspirant whose popularity has large followership and supporters, friends and well wishers within and outside Imo state, who out of love and loyalty trooped out to the campaign ground to show Support and to cheer the incumbent governor Uzodinma with solidarity match, dance and chants of awareness for re-election.
Ahaneku who spoke to newsmen,said that this is one of the ways he wishes to prove his commitment to emerge victorious in the NANS forthcoming election.
He added that it was to prove his readiness to represent the interest of Nigerian Students both at home and in diaspora. Having suspended his own campaign tour to higher institutions in Nigeria to ensure that he Supports Governor Uzodinma as a personal project.
He further stated that, thank you for a good work is more work, recalling that he served perfectly well as a one time SUG President and has been given more work to bring back the leadership of NANS to campuses; that is how Governor Uzodinma deserves another term more work for a better Imo.
He added that the Imo NANS Executive body has officially adopted his(Ahaneku’s ) aspiration to be the next National President of NANS.
