It was a total show of love towards Governor Hope Uzodinma and proof of capacity by the Ohaji/Egbema stakeholders, All Progressives Congress ,APC chieftains and members at Umunwaku Central School on Thursday November 2, as the political opinion molders of Ohaji/Egbema organized a colourful LGA grand finale campaign for Dist. Sen. Hope Uzodinma’s re-election.
The Ohaji/Egbema grand finale campaign had the APC Governorship candidate for the 11th November Imo election, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma who was duly represented by his SA on Special Duties, Nze Chinasa Nwaneri, SA Political, Chief Barr. Enyinnaya Onuegbu and the Deputy Chief of Staff Operations. While other State functionaries were also in attendance.
The Thursday most attended political rally had the entire leadership of Ohaji/Egbema LGA led by Chief Charles Orie, Dr. Goddy Esom Obodo, Hon. Osondu Chimokwu, Hon. Gideon Mefor, Hon. Emeka Benjamin, Barr Magnus Obido, Hon. Anayo Okiro, Hon. Golden Nwokoma and too many other leaders, State and Local government appointees, GLOs, party officials and all the INEC wards in Ohaji/Egbema were in attendance.
Addressing the crowd, the Managing Director of ISOPADEC, Chief Charles Orie thanked the people of Ohaji/Egbema for their continues unalloyed support towards the affairs of Sen. Hope Uzodinma and Shared Prosperity Government in particular as he revealed the achievements of the present government of Imo State under Sen. Hope Uzodinma, done in Ohaji/Egbema through ISOPADEC like the building of 3 brand new general hospitals in the three ISOPADEC LGAs, road construction, classroom block buildings in the communities, electricity project, water project, rehabilitation of health centers, employment of Ohaji/Egbema people and lots more.
In their remarks, Dr. Goddy Esom Obodo told Ohaji/Egbema people that Sen. Hope Uzodinma is the only 2023 Imo governorship election candidate with Ohaji/Egbema interest and knows the plights of their people. He emphasized on the achievements of the APC candidate even done in Ohaji/Egbema while thanking the ISOPADEC MD, Chief Charles Orie for his commitment in the Shared Prosperity administration through the utilization of ISOPADEC funds that has resulted into numerous present government achievements and for his solid mobilization of Support for the re-election of Sen. Hope Uzodinma.
The former APC Chairman of Ohaji/Egbema, Hon. Osomdu Chimokwu disclosed that Ohaji/Egbema under the leadership of Chief Charles Orie is intact for APC victory. He thanked Governor Hope Uzodinma for the ISOPADEC numerous achievements and promised to reward Uzodinma with Ohaji/Egbema people’s votes comes 11th November.
Hon. Gideon Mofor revealed that Ohaji/Egbema is 100% APC compliance and that the ability of Chief Charles Orie to collapse members of opposition parties in the area into APC was fantastic political breakthrough achieved by Chief Charles Orie which has made Ohaji/Egbema APC victory zone. He thanked Governor Hope Uzodinma for awarding and mobilizing the contractor handling Avu-Obosima-Adapalm -Etekwuru road and urged the governor to compile the contractor to expedite action to enable Ohaji/Egbema people enjoy the road.
The former Ohaji/Egbema Local Government Chairman, Nze Dimkpa Enyia said Ohaji/Egbema is secured for APC and that the influence of Chief Charles Orie in the oil region of Imo State will be demonstrated through the massive votes to be given to APC comes November 11 Imo Governorship election.
Barr. Chibuisi Magnus Obido thanked Governor Hope Uzodimma for his all inclusive governance. Obido who was PDP Orlu Zonal chairman and currently serving as SA to Governor Hope Uzodimma on Oil Mineral Producing Areas/Community Engagement promised to galvanize more support for APC while reassuring that opposition have come and gone in Ohaji/Egbema.
Speaking on behalf of the youths, the ISOPADEC Commissioner, Engr. Davis Ogbuji and the current National Congress of Ohaji Youths (NACOY) President, Comr. Nwosu Nickolas Tochi, respectively, attested that governor Hope Uzodinma’s administration has been friendly with their youth through appointment of Ohaji/Egbema youths in the Shared Prosperity administration of Governor Hope Uzodinma, job employment, skills acquisition and other meaningful engagement from the government which has caused change of narrative in their areas and fostered development.
Reacting on behalf of Governor Hope Uzodinma, Nze Chinasa Nwaneri appreciated Ohaji/Egbema people for their steadfastness in championing the campaign of Sen. Hope Uzodinma whom he described as an indigen of Ohaji/Egbema. Said the crowd at the APC campaign rally was a true reflection of APC and Governor Hope Uzodinma’s victory in the forthcoming, while applauding Chief Charles Orie and other leaders of Ohaji/Egbema for being good ambassadors of Governor Hope Uzodinma, he promised Ohaji/Egbema people of much more government dividend of democracy during the second term of APC administration in Imo.
Also, Barr. Enyinna Onuegbu thanked Ohaji/Egbema people and Chief Charles Orie in particular for constant mobilization of support for Governor Hope Uzodinma. He reassured Ohaji/Egbema people of more prosperities from Sen. Uzodinma’s leadership.
