As the political permutations and alignments towards the forthcoming Imo gubernatorial election gets hotter, the incumbent APC governor of Imo State, Sen Hope Uzodinma continues to gather momentum by the day.
Recently, the people of Ideato Federal Constituency irrespective of party affiliations has unanimously reaffirmed the earlier adoption , endorsement Gov Hope Uzodinma by both traditional rulers community and religious leaders in Ideato Nation and declared him their sole candidate for the forthcoming November 11th election; abandoning all other political parties candidates.
This decision was reached and issued as a communique after a Stakeholders meeting of the Federal Constituency held at the Rockview Hotel Owerri, after a constructive and critical analysis of Uzodinma’s performance in office as governor. And found out that Uzodinma’s human and infrastructural developmental stride can only be equated to that of Dee Sam Mbakwe of the blessed memories.
They also submitted that it’s only the re-election of Sen Hope Uzodinma on the 11th of November 2023 that will ensure the institutionalization of the recently drafted Imo Charter of Equity for the benefit of the three senatorial districts/zones of the state on governorship shut.
The well attended meeting saw the crème la crème of Ideato political space irrespective of party affiliations spoke in one voice for the first time as they agreed that a vote for Uzodinma is a vote for the liberation of Ideato Federal Constituency from the deadly clutches of ecological disaster/erosion menace.
