The personality of Hon (Mrs) Rubby Emele Imo State Commissioner for Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs is benchmarked on the statement of German statesman Konrad Adenauer, who said thus, “we all live under the same sky, but we all do not have the same horizon”.
This speaks of intuitive administrators like Hon. Rubby Emele who, with sense of panache and patriotism, envisaged what others don’t see now. Like Nostradamus, the man who saw tomorrow.
Also, a notable leadership development expert, Myles Munroe observed that “the value of all creation is in its contribution to others”. This means that no human being was created to live for himself alone. Rather each of us has been created to contribute to the advancement of our various societies by making input into the happiness and development of other people.
Given Hon. Chief (Mrs) Rubby Emele’s philanthropic superfluity, compassion to the poor, youth, women, the sick and children among her most distinctive features, Imolites are inextricably and irresistibly magnetized to the government of Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodinma.
A time like this demands strong minds and great hearts so as to sustain the good works of the present administration – men and women of true faith, honour, integrity, mental capacity and cerebral fecundity. Hon. Mrs. Rubby Emele is a woman of perseverance, determination, patience and courage. The Commissioner adroitly radiates love in all diverse spheres of human existence. She is an embodiment of moral rectitude, epitome of humility, hospitality and a woman of time and destiny. A strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach to all intricate issues and always has her finger on the right pulse to fire on all cylinders to bring about the needed result.
In view of her scholastic antecedents, transcendental pedigree and an conoclastic altruism and indeed equanimity, concomitant with entrepreneurship Imolites are blessed.
Hon.’ Rubby Emele adroitly has her guiding principles in the thoughts of George Washington of the United States, Mahatma Ghandi of India, Nelson Mandela of South Africa, Paul Kagame of Rwanda and others.
For instance, Nelson Mandela said that, “what counts in life is not the mere fact that we have lived. It is what difference we have made to the lives of others that will determine the significance of the life we lived/’ Hon. Rubby Emele’s insightful political voyage is likened to the statement by the Anglo-Irish author essayist and poet Jonathan Swift who said that “Vision is the art of seeing what is invisible to other”.
Hon. Emele speaks winningly with an instinctive knowledge of what would make her message clear to her audience concerning how they could continue to support the present 3R government. She has a special affinity for women, making friends with them and winning their allegiance.
Manifestly, Hon. Rubby Emele is a woman drawn to prayer. She is found at home in the churches, worship grounds and inclined to private prayer in which she might commune with the God who did not begin when the beginning began. Unarguably, some people live simply on the alms of her material and spiritual support. At times the demands of the crowds or supporters for assistance or even for practical necessities, threaten to overwhelm her. But, she is persevering, doing what she can and trying in every way possible to communicate the goodness, charity and grace of God.
Hon. Rubby Emele is leading many people to a vision of a better future for themselves. According to Denis Waitley, the greatest achievements are those that benefit others”.
Interestingly, Governor Hope Uzodinma is surefooted and knowledgeable such chat critics and skeptics who had dismissed him as phlegmatic, Otiose and ossified are left flummoxed. A very strong foundation is being laid for an egalitarian, prosperous and totally developed state. He has proved, along with American president Abraham Lincoln that, “the dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate for the stormy present.” Creativity is the secret.
As observed by 16th Century Florentine Statesman, Nicole, Machiavelli, “the first method for estimating the intelligence of a ruler is to look at the men he has around him”. A great team delivers the goals.”
Without a doubt, Hon. Chief (Mrs) Rubby Emele, falls within the category of thinkers like Kenneth Waltz, Richard Rosecrance, Ernest Geller, Anthony Giddens, Martin-Wight, Johan Galtung and Ernest Haas. They were critical thinkers who used their superlative ingenuity, creative capacity and humanness to impact positively on society.
Considering the quantum or dept of services rendered by Hon. Rubby Emele, her pervading humility notwithstanding, there is no argument and debate as to her creativity, administrative acumen and academic intensity. Like any other sound administrator of her stature and status, she is not of attitudinal deficit and philosophical indebtedness. One begins to wonder if Hon. Rubby Emele is just a mere mortal like every other one. According to Napoleon Bonapart, “Courage is not having the strength to go on. It is going on when you don’t have strength.” She is vision-driven and derives courage and confidence from supreme God. Succinctly put, in line with the statement of renowned entrepreneur, Henry Ford who observed that, “An idealist is a person who helps other people to be prosperous.” Hon. Rubby Emele is an idealist, altruistic and a catalyst.
