As Mbaise Nation celebrated her New yam festival globally known as ‘Iriji Mbaise’ the candidate of Action Alliance,AA for the Imo State November 11 governorship election, Maj. Gen. Lincoln Ogunewe (Rtd) has said that his administration will ensure peace and security that will move the state from insecurity to prosperity if elected.
Speaking when he played host to mammoth crowd who came to celebrate Iriji Mbaise at his country home, Umudim Akpodim in Ezinihitte Mbaise, Ogunewe posited that he decided not to join the general Iriji Mbaise festival but to celebrate in a solenm way because of the gruesome murder of HRH Eze James Nnamdi (Mmirioma) of Nguru Nweke in Aboh Mbaise.
He opined that such a high class Traditional Ruler can’t be killed in his Palace and the nation would be celebrating.
He said his administration will move the state from insecurity to prosperity and that being a security expert he wiould consult with stakeholders to bring the necessary peace for business to thrive.
He called on Imolites to continue to be alert in their environment, stressing that he has blueprint to take Imo State to another level of prosperity. He noted that his Reset Imo Agenda has alot to offer to making sure that the masses live in peace.
