Orlu Zone To Negotiate November 11th Guber Election If Orluzurumee
Orluzurumee youth Assembly is the Apex socio cultural Youth organization that unites and protects the interest of Orlu youths in the 12 LGA’s of Orlu Zone.
Haven known the effects and aftermath of any governmental policies, actions and inactions in a state, we are concerned about a government that can guarantee security of lives and properties of Orlu people as November 11th gubernatorial election draws closer.
As a group with burning desire to see Orlu safe and peaceful again, we have started consultations with critical stakeholders in Orlu zone as Orlu people can never give out the Governorship position to any other zone without negotiating and putting into cognizance the willingness to solve our immediate problem in the zone.
As it stands now, We have our problems in Orlu zone. Problems ranging from insecurity and extra judicial killings of the youths, infrastructural decay and injustices melted on Orlu people and we are interested on that Messianic Governor who can be able to address these myriads of challenges in Orlu zone.
Orlu zone Youths is going to be more concerned about who has the capacity to address these challenges without sentiments as Orlu people have suffered as never before in recent time.
Take a good look at our Imo State University Teaching Hospital Orlu, Imo state College of Nursing Okporo, Sam Okparaji Stadium, Orlu international Market and even Orlu/Mgbee/Akokwa road and you will understand the level of decadence of infrastructure going on in Orlu zone. These institutions and roads are nothing to write home about that’s why we are insisting on “Negotiation.
Meanwhile, we applaud the efforts of Gov. Hope Uzodinma on the quality construction of Owerri/Orlu road and urge him as a true Orlu Son to draw closer to the Negotiation table as we have a more challenging and pressing issues to address in Orlu zone especially as November Guber polls draws closer.
As we continue our consultation with the critical stakeholders in the state, traditional rulers, House of Representatives and Assembly members, town Union presidents and other relevant groups, by the time the consultation is over, Orluzurumee Youth Assembly can then take a strong stand regarding the November Election.
