The victory of Hon. Modestus Osakwe of the PDP In the just concluded Isu state constituency House of Assembly election and subsequent issuance of certificate of return (CoR) to him by the INEC has been celebrated by the 11 ward chairmen of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the LGA.
The ward chairmen, speaking on Sunday, April 30, through the Isu LGA PDP ward chairman of chairmen, Mr. Mathew Onwenu (idiagbon) described Osakwe’s victory as a special gift to the entire people of Isu state constituency by God who had made it possible.
The ward chairmen appreciated Hon. Osakwe for his commitment, resilience and faith in matters concerning the state constituency, adding that Osakwe’s support to them in all areas of their work before and during the election made their work easier as he led them by example.
Mr Onwenu went down memory lane to narrative how Osakwe’s faith in God had sustained him over the years in his commitment to change the fortunes of Isu state constituency through quality representation at the state House of Assembly which has now become a reality, thanks to the determination of the people on truth.
The chairmen thanked all their executive officers, members and everyone that contributed to the PDP House of Assembly election victory, saying that at last the sun had arisen in Isu LGA.
They also called on all lovers of the welfare of Isu state constituency to support Hon. Osakwe in his efforts to give the LGA quality representation in the state House of Assembly and finally close the old chapter of poor and selfish interests in representation.
