The Association of Igbo Town Unions, ASITU led by Chief Emeka Diwe, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Ohaneze Ndigbo President General, Professor George Obiozor.
Speaking to newsmen recently, Chief Diwe described Professor Obiozor as an accomplished statesman and diplomat who spent his life time serving Nigeria.
He noted that the death of the Ohaneze helmsman has left a vacuum in Igbo leadership.
He therefore prayed God to give the Obiozor family the fortitude to bear the huge loss as well as grant the soul of the former Nigeria Ambassador to USA eternal rest in His bossom.
