…Charges PCC to be proactive, dedicated
Owerri_ Director General of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP Presidential Campaign Council in Imo State, Hon Greg Egu has officially kick-started his work as he visited the headquarters of the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Office to inspect the facility.
The Director General, Hon Greg Egu on Thursday was taken round the building alongside some deputy directors of the Presidential Campaign Council.
Egu who expressed his heartfelt gratitude over the choice and location of the Presidential Campaign Office which was personally secured and equipped by the National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party, Sen Samuel Anyanwu, Samdaddy and donated to the Atiku/Okowa Campaign Council in Imo State.
Egu who by his recent appointment as Director General of the Campaign Council takes charge of the day to day activities as he is expected to officially resume office immediately as the party plans to host the Presidential and Vice Presidential Candidates of the PDP in the State on the 17th, December, 2022.
Reacting shortly after his Inauguration at the Party’s Secretariat, Egu disclosed ” Today begins the journey to Aso Rock, Nigeria’s seat of power come 2023″ “Now that we have been Inaugurated, let’s put behind us our personal Interests and work in synergy to deliver our Candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. “As a political party, we can only stand the chance to win the Imo Governorship election if we elect a PDP President”.
Also, he thanked the leadership of the party for finding him worthy to serve in the capacity as Director General and promised to put every resources in place to ensure landslide victory for Alhaji Atiku Abubakar come 2023.
He further charged members of the Campaign Council to be proactive in the discharge of their assigned duties.
