…Anukanti: It’s turn of Nigerians
Coalition Groups rooting for the emergence of Mr.Peter Obi and Dr Yusuf Datti Baba Ahmed as President and Vice President of Nigeria in 2023, weekend shut down Owerri with a mega rally for the duo.
The rally which began as early as 9am in the morning from the popular Warehouse Junction Orlu Road,Owerri take off point ended at about 3pm in the afternoon, at the same Freedom Square Warehouse Junction venue where it all started.
The mammoth crowd of youths, students, women and men who turned out for the rally marched carnival like from Douglas Road through Weatheral Road, Okigwe Road, Spibat Road and Orlu Road and finally returned to Freedom Square, where various speakers took turns to address the crowd.
The lead coordinator of the coalition groups that organized the mega rally, Comrade Virginus Anukanti in his speech expressed satisfaction with the way the rally was well organized and lauded coordinators of the various support groups that packaged the event for job well done.
He also lauded the participants for coming out to march in support of the Labour Party,LP and its Presidential Candidate and his running mate,Peter Obi and Yusuf Ahmed-Datti even as he specially appreciated the physically challenged citizens who turned out in their numbers for the rally.
He opined that the rally has conclusively proven that Imo State is fully obedient, stressing that Nigerian masses are strongly supporting Obi presidency project, because they are convinced he has good intentions for the country.
Noting that 2023 is the turn of Nigerian masses to produce their own president, he urged them to continue to support the Labour Party and its Presidential Candidate and running mate because they have the roadmap for the country’s rebirth.
