Accomplished journalist, Media expert and Publisher of note, Elder Lambert Ojukwu has added another feather to his cap as the Imo State Professional Photographers and Videographers Association of Nigeria, ISPPAN, Friday, honoured the publisher of Nigeria Newspoint Newspaper with the Award of Best Publisher of the Year 2022.
The ceremony which held in Owerri, was part of activities marking the World Photography Day which is celebrated annually on August 19.
Conferring the Award on Elder Ojukwu who doubled as a Guest Lecturer at the event, ISPPAN State Chairman,
Comr. Onyeahialam Chibueze T. said that the Award bestowed on Elder Ojukwu was in recognition of his outstanding support and encouragement to the Association, noting that he has always been there to offer helping hands whenever the Association called on him.
The Imo ISSPAN Chairman also maintained that the Nigeria Newspoint Newspaper Publisher and Chief executive officer has been consistent in the Media industry as one of the foremost publishers of the first Local newspapers in Imo State.
He added that the Nigeria Newspoint has never slipped or slumbered in its mission to inform and educate the people as it always hits Newspaper stands since its inception nearly 20 years ago.
Receiving the Award, Nigeria Newspoint publisher and Editor- in -Chief, Elder Ojukwu thanked the Association for honouring him with the Award and advised them to always work in synergy with Media organizations in Imo to achieve greater results.
He expressed joy at the award describing it as special to him because it is given to him by an Associate organization to the Journalism profession, and promised that he would continue to assist the Association any time it needed his assistance.
