…Agwara: Obi-Datti Is a Movement

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has reiterated that his mission was to give back the country to the owners.
Obi spoke when he stormed Owerri the Imo State Capital on weekend(Saturday), to commission the new Labour Party secretariat donated by Dr Libo Agwara for the smooth running of the party in Imo.
Addressing newsmen shortly after the commissioning facility, the former Anambra State governor who thanked the donor for the gesture, said he did not come to Imo State for campaign as it was not yet time to campaign, but that he was in the state to officially open the party’s state office.
Obi reiterated that Labour Party was determined to take Nigeria back to the owners come 2023.
The ex-Anambra Governor expressed gratitude to the party supporters in Imo who trooped out enmasse to receive him in the state.

Addressing Journalists after the commissioning, the donor of party Secretariat,an American trained Political scientist and Legal luminary,Dr. Agwara said that the gesture is his own little way to help the Party actualize the aspirations of Peter Obi Movement.
He maintained that he knows Peter Obi very well and that he is the only hope for the nation called Nigeria and that the Citizens,mostly youths are ready for the change that is coming through him.
On the issue that Obi has no structures, Dr.Agwara dismissed the statement, saying that whoever is making such remark is not following the political trends in the country,presently.
“This Movement is a mass movement and the structure they are talking about are the people.Obi’s movement has made significant inroute in virtually all the States in the country”,he maintained.
The American trained Political scientist and lawyer posited that APC has made the task simpler for Obi by making their party a Muslim party in a secular State such as Nigeria.
“The Current APC President is a Muslim, the APC Presidential flag bearer is a Muslim,his running mate, a Muslim, the President of the Senate is also a Muslim the numbers are uncountable and the country is tired of this. The only way out is making Peter Obi the Present”,he submitted.
He stated that though,he is not running for any political office for now but donated the building to the party to extend hands of fellowship and to demonstrate the love he has for Obi movement.
