This is for the records; HRH Ezechikere Peter Njemanze is a direct grandson of HRM Njemanze-Iheanacho-Okorie-Onunwa-Ikenegbu, Owere nchi-ise, being the second son to late Prince Pa Alfred Njemanze of blessed memory. Eze Njemanze was selected the traditional rule of Amawom Autonomous Community Owere Imo State following the baikanization of Owere nchi-ise, which before this time was a municipality, Some prominent sons of Owere nchi-ise made a proposal to Governor Rochas Okorocha demanding the balkanization of Owere. nchiise into five autonomous communities following existed marginalization of other villages.
The same people who hatched the plot wrote to the governor to suspend the sitting Eze./ HRM Eze Emmanuel Njemanze and he was actually suspended. They also “embezzle, the millions of naira given to them by Owelle Rochas Okorocha meant for internal sensitization of Owere people before the relocation of Eke Ukwu Owere market. They succeeded in their plots hence, the suspension of Eze Owere which led to his death. The rest are history, but God will judge us. This plots were championed by some Owere nchi-ise prominent sons and the likes of Bobo Njemanze and some Owere nchi-ise top legal luminaries. God knows that I, Eze Chikere Peter Njemanze was not part of their evil plot. Rather, I was the Biblical David. I never went to the governor to demand to become Eze Amawom. It was the miracle of God Almighty. These are glaring facts.
I went to government house on a visitation with my executives as the President General of Alaenyi communities in Imo State. It was after our discussion with the governor that my Ezeship journey began. The governor revealed certain Amawom people who came to him for the throne, and their roles on the demise of Ozuruigbo V of Owere.
I do not have battles anymore with Bobo Njemanze because today, I am the only recognized Eze of Amawom Autonomous Community. I have been recognized by government, gazette by government, given Staff of office by Imo State government: I have received my allowances as at when due, the battle is over if there was any, I want to advice Bobo Njemanze to sheath his sword and join me let’s move Amawom and Owere forward. I shall give him anything he wants which I can provide, if he will not stab me at the back. By my position, I am the number one citizen in Amawom as provided by law and tradition. I am the chief security officer of Amawom. My word stands. I have powers to dissolve or reconstitute any committee that is within Amawom and my area of domain. It is my primary duty to defend and protect Amawom/Owere customs and heritage without any disturbances. You cannot fight a government constituted Authority. Let it be on record that for now I am only Eze of Amawom Autonomous community and the Ozuruigbo ‘V’ as enshrined in the Njemanze dynasty and Amawom Owere nchi-ise, Imo State Nigeria..
I want to thank our Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma on his 100 days in office and on his numerous achievements so far, I want to also advice that he should be very careful with the likes of Bobo Njemanze who is a well known detractors in the past governments.
Our governor is a known democrat and one against injustice. It is an impunity for an individual to continue attacking established order, please Bobo should come lets move Amawom Owere forward.
