The leadership of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, Imo State chapter led by its Chairman, Apostle Sam Udeh(Ezeumuokorobia), as part of his continuous concern towards saving lives has paid a solidarity visit to an unfit veteran and a member of the union, Comr.Linus Chukwu, at his Ohaji country home in Ohaji/Egbema LGA, Imo State.
The chairman noted that Comr.Chukwu, until his current predicament is a strong member of Imo NURTW who has paid his dues as a unionist.
Comr. Chukwu, before his feeble state of health was the Ohaji Branch Chairman, who had been bed ridden for months as a result of Leg Cancer and Heart related disease.
The Imo NURTW State Chairman, Comr.Udeh, who takes no delight in seeing any of his colleagues suffer said there’s need for the Union to swiftly move into action to give succour to every strong member as Comr. Chukwu who falls sick .
Udeh, in his bid to save lives, based on his show of love and care had sent some delegates who visited the Ohaji Branch Chairman, Comr. Chukwu in the spirit of comradeship.
For Comr. Chukwu the atmosphere brightened as the Union’s delegates handed him a big envelope after saying serious prayers for his quick recovery.
The delegates who were led by Comr. Charles, included some other stakeholders of the union in the state and the climax was the strong prayer said for quick recovery of Elder Chukwu.
