A well known human right activist and community leader in the state Prince Vincon Uwakwe-Uwandu has lambasted Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu for saying no to 3rd term in Mbaike as it is now the turn of Mbaitoli to complete what he Chief Iwuanyanwu instigated through his brother late Hon Bethel Amadi.
The Mbatolit leaders are so happy with the good people of Ikeduru who never argued that their late brother Bethel started the 3rd term bid which must be put to a stop after Mbaitoli has completed their turn in 2023.
Chief Iwuanyanwu must be advised as our leader not to make Mbatoli people feel cheated or deceived in this circumstance. I therefore ask him to withdraw his stand and apologize to Mbaitoli.
Prince who is from Ogwa in Mbaitoli LGA is also the Public Relations Officer of the Imo State Town Unions and Chief Provost of South East Indigenous Town Union, representing Imo State.
Speaking on Hon Uche Nwole’s tenure in the House of Representatives in 1999 to 2003, Prince Vincon explained that Chief Iwuanyanwu had insisted that Nwole should serve for a term to enable Ikeduru LGA to present Hon Bethel Amadi.
He disclosed that Hon. Amadi eventually served for three ternures in the House of Representatives, arguing that Mbaitoli has to also serve out three now before the any other person from Ikeduru.
Prince Vincon revealed that leaders of Ikeduru LGA have agreed that Mbaitoli LGA should complete her three term bid.
He said based on equity Mbaitoli, which is greater in number should be allowed to end the round.
